      Corporate as Usual - Focus on $ Not People

      Pros

      Great technology acquisitions to build an end-to-end IP solution

      Cons

      1. Very little solution-oriented talent; mostly product specialists with no consulting knowledge 2. Way behind times with vision of client solutions and remote teams; new strategy is to have employees in 3 GBCs around the globe -- very 1980's way of thinking 3. They do not walk the talk when putting clients and employees first; it is always the shareholder $ that comes first - talent/skills/relationships are not considered

      Toxic remote leadership

      Professional, experienced teams, young talent, decent working conditions

      Cons

      All local leadership was replaced with remote leaders who are based in London; no management skills, often creating toxic work atmosphere, some people are preferred, others continuously dismissed or ignored. Typical nepotism, consistent criticism with no motivating attitude. Consequence will be more talented, knowledgeable people leaving. It is a shame that leadership cannot capitalize on so much experience and talent and is focused only on self-promotion.

      Management gives conflicting messages - too many leadership changes

      Pros

      Used to be great when we were owned by Thomson, it has declined more and moreover the years and become very bureaucratic, very clicky and leadership is not leading but telling everyone how it should be. The new CEO seems like he knows what he is doing but chased out the old and he will probably only be here a year or two until the next person comes in and changes everything.

      Too many changes, too much variance in words vs actions Executive Leadership is not as transparent as the promise to be Too many secrets Too much change too quickly Too many layoffs of executives that have built this company Women not represented in leadership positions Work from home policy is all over the place based on what group you are in and what is expected of you in terms of days in the office Offices closings More layoffs expected in late 2019 and early 2020
