Pros
Clarivate is filled with a lot of great people who genuinely care about what they do. Most of the team works really hard to make a difference, whether it’s helping clients, driving innovation, or supporting each other. Like any organization, it’s not without its challenges, but the culture is shaped by people who show up every day ready to do their best. It’s refreshing to see so many individuals who are passionate, dedicated, and willing to go the extra mile when it matters. The effort and energy they bring really stand out and make a big impact.
Cons
Clarivate grew rapidly during the pandemic and through the ProQuest acquisition, which brought both opportunities and challenges. The pace of that growth, while exciting, left the company struggling to keep up with itself in some ways, almost paralyzing certain processes and decision-making. On top of that, there’s been a lot of turnover in upper management, which has made it harder to maintain a consistent vision and direction. All the change created a period of uncertainty that’s been tough for the organization to navigate, even with the many talented people working hard to push things forward.
