      The place is only as good as the team you work with. Some teams are great and others are toxic. The toxics team never seem to get fixed but usually worse.

      Pros

      Proquest was a great company and it went downhill after the acquisition by Clarivate. Many knowledgeable employees have now left the company. It has created. Vacuum that the business is struggling and it is very evident. Sad state the price of the stock says it all.

      Cons

      I do t think the ELT knows what they are doing. The hiring itself is a good indicator. Technology hired several senior directors in the last 18 months and they still do not know what they are doing leave alone steering the ship. It is a procee oriented company with no innovation, thinking outside the box.

      WFH for now, but that may be changing Good work/life balance Nothing else positive to say

      Cons

      No opportunity for advancement at all Relatively low pay The sole focus is the bottom line, to the point that the clients are receiving significantly weaker products and services than they used to. It is a matter of time before clients start leaving in droves.
