Pros

The legacy employees who care about the business.

Cons

The CEO is weak. He brought in a group of CEOs to run the different business units and support teams. The CEO is afraid to make decisions. The company is suffering because of his lack of ability to lead. He stays in his office with his door shut so he does not have to deal with the staff. The entire executive team is nasty and disrespectful to employees. Very unapproachable and only talk to their directs. The use of foul language in meetings and yelling at staff during meetings is the norm especially in finance. The hr team needs to be replaced from top to bottom. The head of hr is more interested in how she looks then how the business is actually doing and the rest of the team is just there. Not sure what they really do. Truly a useless group of people. They only care about the career opportunities for vice presidents and above. No formal training or career opportunities for non-management employees.

Pros

Sales people centric, and we sales are always recognized. Great work-life balance, except for consulting team, most of teams don't work overtime a lot. Many nice people here, and overseas.

Cons

Really slow in payment to vendors. Takes years to register new vendors. Accounts Payable and Sourcing/Procurement teams (both are located overseas, not here) are poor in performance. Sooner or later, we will face black-ink bankruptcy.

We appreciate your feedback and you might be interested in knowing that the Finance team is moving forward with a new system to manage our suppliers and the associated payments. Yes, we are a global organization with employees in over 42 countries, but the Sourcing and Procurement Organization is 92% on-shore and primarily centrally located in our headquarters in Philadelphia. Our Accounts Payable organization has team members in both Philadelphia and also overseas and while we have had challenges with our payment process, we are confident our new systems and processes will remediate the issues that we are currently facing today.
