Pros

Ability to provide support to children and their families.

Cons

Very poor company culture. Employees are not appreciated by upper management. The company is interested in providing it's investors with a profitable rate of return but has little regard for it's employees. The field offices have minimal clinical support. Each employee is an island of themselves. It is a shame. This was once a family oriented company. Family oriented towards its employees and those they serve. No longer......

Pros

Free supervision, plenty of opportunities for clinical growth. relatively speaking, fps offers a wide range of services in a region (Asheville) where mental health services are poorly lackingada

Cons

24k base salary is beyond ridiculously low toxic work environment they are a FOR PROFIT organization, profiting on the backs of lowly paid masters level therapists and the medicaid funds of clients served.

Pros

Colleagues and the families you engage with

Cons

First of all Pathways Regional director does not care about his clinicians. He has been heard to tell others that if the clinicians aren't happy then they can leave because they can be replaced. But after 3 years of high turnovers clinicians haven't been replaced. New hires are getting paid more than clinicians who have been there for over 3 years and if you are male you definitely get paid more than the females. The environment is toxic and pathways sucks out the joy of being a Clinician. Many of the therapists who have left, leave due to low pay, not being appreciated and the expectations not being realistic. The associate vp of operations does not care if you're burned out. She says figure it out and give me the numbers. The clinicians are not supported and the pay is low. Also there is no room for growth. I would not recommend working at pathways to anyone. If anything stay away.
