Not so great

Pros

Great people, slide, snacks, and unlimited soda

Cons

MIA CEO with no vision for the organization, top heavy organization with poor leadership, very political. The company preaches people are our culture, but they could care less about their employees which is one of the reason everyone is jumping ship.

Bottom line comes first - always

Pros

You'll learn a lot on the marketing side. You'll find some of the smartest people when it comes to SEO and PPC. The business model has created a fined tuned machine when it comes to high performing websites. There's two business divisions, performance and consumer. They are almost two different companies - one is growing and the other is declining. Depending where you are will change your perspective.

Cons

Bottom line always comes first. They protect their margins ruthlessly, so they will fire entire teams if they need to. Very top heavy management. A few VPs are very overpaid for what they contribute to the business. CEO is MIA, never there. Don't understand how he is a CEO of the year honoree. Nepotism is rampant, internal politics can be hard to deal with. In the CEO's absence, the CMO basically runs things, to the dismay of some.

We are sorry to hear that we failed to deliver the exceptional employee experience we strive for. While it is great to hear that you share our belief that we have such an amazing pool of incredibly talented people, it is unfortunate to hear that we put profits before people. We have always been a people-first culture and understand very well that there are real people, our friends and colleagues, behind the numbers. Your feedback has been passed along to the leadership team, please email us at HR@Clearlink.com so we can begin a dialogue and better understand the details of your time here.

Pros

The grunts are regular people who are friendly and that you want to be around. You get paid weekly. Bosses from the top down at least seem like they care.

Cons

Money is obviously the main priority. Clearlink has tanked since Sykes has had more and more influence on the company. But what can you do? There is a lot of backbiting, rumor-spreading, and immaturity. Not a lot of room in moving up. There are a lot of "political games" to simply get into any position. There are a lot of managers that get into power-trips. As a company, I really believe on the whole that they attempt to make psychological safety sound important, but on a manager level, that's "important" until they feel even a bit threatened and then you place a target on your back, and immediately after coaching sessions (1-on-1's) they'll tear you down behind your back to the other managers. Good luck getting promoted at that point. I've seen a lot of instances from interviews when they'll give b.s. reasons but then you find out from other managers the real reason why someone didn't get promoted. Pretty bad for morale.
