Pros

The base pay + commission was great for most sales agents. It is a great place to meet people in their 20s, as most of the sales force is comprised of people in that age range. Most of the employees are easy to get along with.

Cons

-When moving up in the company I was told to expect to lose money for a higher position but then would acquire more than I started with once moving a step above that. It was explained in a "two steps forward one step back" type of conversation. I moved upward and did lose money. - Some departments are newer and thus the pay changes frequently. It is near impossible to form long term financial plans in these newer departments. - It is the most political environment I have worked in. Upper management is very clique-y and blatantly prefers men over women and men whom belong to a certain religion over men who do not, even though the majority of sales agents are not open about their religious beliefs or have no specific religion. - HR here is useless. I was seriously told "what do you expect us to do about it?" when providing evidence for a wrongful write-up and pay docking. I had over 20 pages of emails, recorded conversations, etc. They said they refused to "step on my boss's toes" by overriding the punishment. They also said that even though it is not company policy to have write ups with no expiration date, it was a new manager who did it and they would not intervene for fear of him leaving the position.

We are sorry to hear that we did not deliver on the exceptional employee experience we strive for. As we continue to grow as a company and expand offerings and respective departments, we do experience occasional growing pains -- but we also put a huge effort into career development and career pathing to help our people understand how they can take the next step in their career. We do have checks and balances in place to review disciplinary and compliance concerns, and it is an area we are constantly looking to improve. We absolutely do not tolerate discrimination in any way, shape, or form and thoroughly investigate all such allegations. Please contact our VP of Human Resources at Cammie.Cable@clearlink.com so we can review your experience.

Pros

there really isn't much great to say about this company. They act like they care but they really don't.

Cons

no true uncapped commission like job listing says. 2 Calls a week are listened to and micromanaged., They grade you on 2 sales so you never know what your commission check will look like, They take revenue away from you that you have made for them. So instead of getting 100% of your commission you only get 70%. They pretend to be a family there and will fight for you but one mistake and they fire you. Literally, one mistake and you are terminated. A lot of expectations made in training and no one follows through with it. They tell you this and tell you that and than when you bring it up to them they say "oh sorry that was a mistake on my part".

We are sorry to hear that we did not deliver the exceptional employee experience that we strive to provide for all of our employees. It is a tricky line to walk between ensuring good customer experience through compliance and coaching, and ensuring our people are adequately rewarded for their work -- but we are always looking to improve and would love to find out more about your specific situation. Also, we believe in our coaches helping employees learn through “coachable moments” and turning mistakes into opportunities to learn. Please reach out to us at HR@Clearlink.com so that we can learn more about your specific experience and get the conversation started.

Inconsistent

Pros

If you happen to land on the right team, you'll have a great job here. Work 35 hours/week, fun activities, unlimited PTO. IF IF IF you happened to get on the right team.

Cons

I cannot emphasize the inconsistency in this company enough. Some teams get to work from home every week, never log PTO, never work an actual 40 hours and get into work at 10am every morning. Other departments work 50 hours a week, log every day of PTO and never get to work from home. Long story short, the inconsistency is unfair and leaves every employee not knowing where the line is because the policies are clearly not real policies. I do not understand how each department can be ran so differently when you have people from each department on your team. So from each team, you have employees with different perks. It's unbelievable.
