Pros

Free lunch every so often

Cons

Not very accommodating in terms of schedules. The WFM department is a joke, if you needed a day off and PTO was all taken up your coach would tell you to go talk to Work Force Managment (WFM) and they would just tell you you're out of luck. I had a dental surgery and needed a couple days off to recover and they told me "sorry, were forcasted to be very busy those days and can't help you out". I had to no call no show those days and be put on a final instead. Also, only 1 personal day? Really? That's a joke. Seriously the WFM department served no purpose. All they did was watch hold times and chat to the coaches when an agent had someone on hold for to long.

Working Here Was A Mistake

Pros

Good compensation, good health care

Cons

Working here was a nightmare. The people were fine until you actually had to work with them. The politics of this place were unbelievable. My various bosses constantly contradicted each other on policies and on the work. I was expected to execute strategies set by the CFO (why was he setting strategies?), and the timeline for getting anything done was outrageous. I've never worked at such a slow place. I constantly received emails from my bosses --many who had little experience with my work-- expecting me to work when I was on vacation or in the dead of night. Yes, they have vacation days, but shame on you if you take one. Working here made me hate my life.

Pros

Fun, relaxed environment. Fun training. Team Managers are really awesome.

Cons

Un-realistic conversion expectation (if your selling HughesNet). Not very good commission rate. Very unstable. Most of my team quit and/or was let go after 3 months. Poor expectations upon work ethic that is expected on employees. (Drinking alcohol at work, doing drugs at work.)
