Pros

I love who I work with. Good talent is hard to find for an entire marketing department and I feel like when I come to work, I know I am going to learn something. They trust you to be professional and do your job. They give you the freedom to explore and be creative. The Chiefs (CMO, CFO) are down to earth. They dress like everyone else and are approachable. They email staff periodically to have informal gatherings.

Cons

The onboarding process could be much improved. Not just from a department level but from a corporate level. I feel like I am walking on eggshells trying to figure out corporate policies and hope I don't do anything out of the ordinary. I agree that 2-3 weeks of corporate training isn't necessary, but there should be some structure to that. I think some organized interactions between corporate and other employees should be made to do things outside of the office. Lunch, dinner, golf, bowling --- something to get people interacting on a impersonal level.

Pros

Clearlink is an amazing place to start a career - everyone's willing to take the time to teach you and you have more options than "take the job you were hired in at or leave." The people that work here are what makes it so great - the work is traditional marketing and sales work, but (most) people genuinely care.

Cons

There was an old guard of long-term employees who had been promoted over and over that until recently were given favor. That's rapidly being corrected, though, and not a problem I would worry about.
