Pros

I have been at ClickUp for a number of years now and had the chance to watch it grow from about 200 employees to over 1000. A lot of companies haven't been able to navigate the economic struggles of the tech world over the last few years, Fortunately, ClickUp has not only managed, it has thrived. Here are some of the reasons why in my opinion: Exceptional Collaboration - ClickUp gives you the opportunity to work cross functionally and not feel pigeon-holed into doing one job. This is still a startup and you can expect to wear a lot of hats and be given a lot of responsibility Open Communication with Management - Leadership is very transparent about the state of the company and our growth projections. The people that work here have vested interest in the success of the company and that drives everyone to work harder together Navigating Change - ClickUp moves very quickly when making changes. This can rub some people the wrong way but that is the nature of why some startups fail and others succeed. If you can roll with the punches and bring value to your department, you will be rewarded. Positive and Uplifting Work Atmosphere - ClickUp's leadership team is very strong. Everyone feels that we are being led in the right direction and it shows from the way they choose their managers. All of the managers I have had here at ClickUp have lifted me up to be the best CSM I can be. I am still learning and still growing. That is hard to find. Others: - One of the best office spaces in San Diego, hands down - Flexible PTO and remote work options - Awesome company culture that still feels like a fun startup (this is hard to find too) - The product is incredible. Our customers love it and that literally makes my job 1000x better - Coworkers that actually care about your well being and inspire you to achieve more

Cons

I see some negative reviews here and while I disagree with them, I can see why they left. Here are my thoughts: - Fast-paced environment - ClickUp only hires A-players. We run performance reviews regularly and make it very black and white if you are meeting expectations. Some people thrive under this and some don't. We are in an incredibly competitive industry and we are racing to capture market share. If you don't have the drive to be the best at your job and ultimately help lead the company to a successful (and financially rewarding) exit, then this may not be the best place for you - Full workload - I hear some of my friends talk about trying to find a "remote job" with the expectation that you will have a 20-30 hour work week. That is not ClickUp. There are jobs out there that fit those expectations but they aren't conducive to high pay and personal growth. ClickUp pays well and they expect you to challenge yourself, challenge your team, and ultimately grow into a high-performing contributor. At the end of the day we all want to hang our hat on being a part of this story and that comes with a full workload - Leadership Changes - This is going to happen at any startup but it can be difficult to manage sometimes. At the end of the day though we are building a company that is going to take us further faster. Sometimes change has to happen in order to grow

Pros

Work with driven, hard-working colleagues - the people are the best. The product itself is a close second, it's truly a game changer and dream to work on something you believe in. Work benefits are above average as well, and general flexibility when/where you work, which is helpful for juggling family responsibilities.

Cons

While when/where you work is flexible, if you think you're getting away with a 35 hour work week you've got another thing coming. Really depends what you define as work-life balance. Also a ton of pivots in direction causing many efforts to go unfinished before moving on to the next initiative making it hard to show impact sometimes.
