Pros

-Steady work. Will always make a minimum of 40 hours. Currently, there's a need for a lot of overtime, so you can also complete as much over time as you can handle. -Now this will be both a pro and a con, they give everyone a chance at work. -At least once a month there will be either catered bagel sandwiches or pizza for the shop.

Cons

Pay structure is very low. Raises are mediocre at best, 1%-3% early. High employee turnover. Some people you work with will be convicted felons, some with good character that are working to change their lives for the better, and others fresh out of the system and of terrible character.

Ft Lauderdale does background checks on all employees with approval. The factory workers that do not work in customer homes or meet with the public are extended a second chance based on situation and character. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we focus on merit and skill. We hope that everyone gets along and work as a team for maximum productivity and fun.

Pros

Good hours, very flexible if needed. Management is friendly and helpful, owner/operator is very caring and helpful. Almost 2 werks off for Christmas.

Cons

Pay is low in the shop (installers make between $50,000 - $70,000 while the avaerage pay in the shop is around $13.50 pr. Hr. Benefits are not that great no dental or vision and they are very expensive. Workplace rules and expections are somewhat unreasonable.

I don't fully understand. There are specific needs and tasks that must be accomplished to get the job ready for install. It's not always possible to let employees determine what they want to learn and tune out what they don't. Shop workers can move up to installers if they openly voice interest. We encourage job growth and like to elevate positions within the company.

Pros

This location will be out of business soon.

Cons

No appointments, Owners are afraid to let skilled reps go on calls alone, Required to be at the office often and not paid for it! Typical unprofessional sales co hiring outside reps so that they do not have to pay minimum wage, overtime, benefits, etc. What they claim is earning potential is not even close to true.
