      Pros

      I have spent the last fifteen years at bay area enterprise software companies including VMW, BEA, and Sun. I think Cloudera has the same energy as those companies in their early days. The difference is the leadership. I feel that Cloudera's leadership is passionate and caring. The engineering organization does a great job listening to its employees.

      Cons

      Fast growth companies can definitely alienate people that don't do well with change. That said, Cloudera does a great job managing change.

      - Culture. I have never met a smarter, more collaborative, dedicated and excited group of people. - Leadership. I have absolute confidence in the execs steering the ship. - Competitive pay - Great training - Active in community service - Stock in a pre-IPO tech unicorn - Lunches

      Cons

      There are always going to be growing pains with hyper-growth companies, like figuring out where to put everyone! Management handles it well and there are few ripples.
