Do not work there

Pros

The only real pro is the remote work environment

Cons

Everything is really a con. If the company wasn’t mostly remote they probably would not be able to keep anyone. The organization is literally like a circus. It’s very unorganized, always technical issues, there will always be a push to do more work with the same amount of pay, speaking of the pay- it’s pretty low compared to other companies. I’m so happy I got away and I’ve been debating for weeks on whether I would write a review until I spoke with someone that still works there and they told me they are still miserable and waiting on their chance to get out. After the R1 merger things really went downhill. As many have stated, all of the 5 star reviews are “fake” most likely posted by management. R1 took away some of the holidays and reduced the PTO so there goes the work/life balance. You really can’t afford to miss time unless you’re sick because you’re always afraid an emergency will happen and you won’t have pto available. The work isn’t hard but like most companies, the people(management) make it hard. I would suggest only accepting the position if you have a plan to get out within 3-6 months

Pros

You'll get close with your start group which is great.

Cons

Your peer consultants are the best part of the job, but if you get a bad manager, you're pretty screwed. A lot of the Seniors and Managers are really full of themselves and often only a couple years older than the Consultants, so they seem to feel the need to exercise their power a lot more than necessary. If they don't love you, your merit and worth means nothing because everyone is so immature that you'll get mid/bad reviews if someone decides you aren't their favorite person.
