      Pros

      Unlimited PTO but that comes from the parent company Fiserv which has a very generous benefits plan

      Cons

      Do good work, expect to do more. Management encouraged to give employees lower reviews. The company does layoffs every 4-5 months and more and more good people have been let go

      Cons

      There was a founder fight and all of the quality people left with the founder. The few quality people left hide in the shadows. The only people willing to middle manage have serious emotional issues.

      Pros

      Decent work/life balance. The benefits are decent. The vacation policy and holidays are a great benefit. The domain is fairly interesting and the company is growing. The new CEO appears to care and is very approachable.

      Cons

      There are no systems or frameworks in place for CI/CD. There is a small group that is initiating a true cloud platform but it is very much a work in progress. The development teams lack qualified developers, for the most part. The legacy monolithic application is a chaotic mess of libraries and custom code that doesn't follow industry standards for dependency injection, database calls, etc. New microservices don't follow the normal Spring patterns and are often times poorly implemented. All of this can be summarized by a lack of leadership in the development ranks and a lack of priority on what is important in enterprise development.
