Pros

It was a good bank to work for before it split into Corporate and Personal and before most things were centralised. I'd always wanted to work in a bank as my father had before me so this wish was granted.

Cons

Too much centralisation, they should have left more work at branches and cur down on how much people had to sell to customers. There were too many targets to reach each month

Pros

Excellent pay if under 21, holiday entitlements, discount schemes

Cons

Have recently become very UN-coperative with staff (pressure to be fully available even if genuine reasons you cannot be), work-life balance is non-existent, higher management levels seem to be able to do what they want with no repercussions, no team atmosphere at all anymore

Pros

Company benefits such as discounts across Co-Operative brands. The pay was reasonable for the job.

Cons

Managers had most of the control over the store, not HQ. This meant office politics came into place and made some peoples lives a misery.
