Pros

As my first job it wasn't that bad, friendly staff and customers, good salary 4 weeks paid holiday and the opportunity to progress and develop new skills and to mix with different background people.

Cons

the only con is being one and one because its hard to get everything done and puts us behind.

Pros

Good rapport with colleagues. Somewhat competitive pay compared to other food retail jobs (currently 6.57/hour). 10% flat discount for staff + partner card. 20% off during certain periods.

Cons

Customers can be wrong about things but you still have to bend over for them. There is a big leap from your contractual hours and your "available" hours (the days and times that you've said you are free to be scheduled shifts). Holiday allowance does not increase in tandem with your total worked hours - only your contracted hours, which will usually be quite low. Agreeing to work certain days and times is very hard to get out of.
