Thank you for your review and feedback. We're pleased to see that you appreciated the 10% employer contributions toward your pension and the 30% Co-op Colleague Member Discount. We're sorry that you felt that the training opportunities fell short of your expectations. We offer a range of resources to support the development of our colleagues, and we actively encourage everyone to explore the options that best suit their individual needs and learning preferences. These include Learning Topics, which provide on‑demand resources such as videos, e‑learning and activities to help refresh knowledge at any time; Learning Profiles, which guide colleagues through key career milestones and include structured learning hours for our store colleagues; and Learning Groups, which connect colleagues with peers and a Development Coach, supporting them to take ownership of their professional development while building valuable connections.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to read how negative your time at Co‑op has been, particularly your concerns about bullying, favouritism, and the wider working environment. These are serious issues, and they do not reflect the standards or values we expect from our management teams. Bullying, unfair treatment, or inconsistent standards are not acceptable in any part of our business. Where colleagues experience this, it matters to us that it is raised and addressed, and we recognise the impact this can have on wellbeing, morale, and the ability to do the job safely and confidently. We would strongly encourage you to raise these concerns through our internal channels if you feel able to do so, whether that’s with a line manager, People team, HR, or via our confidential reporting processes. These routes exist so that issues like this can be properly investigated and action taken where required. We also recognise that it can be difficult to speak up, particularly where trust has been affected, and we’re committed to ensuring colleagues are supported when they do. Thank you for being open about your experience. Feedback like this is uncomfortable to read, but it is essential in highlighting where we must do better for our colleagues and our stores.
