Pros

Great way to learn from and engage real estate professionals and learn about the industry on a granular level. Opportunities to grow and improve within the company. For the most part, many other like minded professionals who really feel passionate about real estate. Great facilities and work life balance.

Cons

Can be too metric driven. Daily/ weekly check ins on current stats. Prioritization of team projects that don't make a meaningful impact on the data and distract from more critical aspects of the job.

None whatsoever. You don't learn anything or further your professional career.

Cons

Worst experience of my life. Everyone hates their life and leaves, in my time there I saw around 65 reps come and go. No respect from management. It's basically a call center and when you are in the "radar red", expect a passive aggressive email from a middle manager. Very scummy management.

The Good and The Bad

Pros

CoStar provides great opportunities to recent college graduates, and provide great benefits.

Cons

There is very little growth within the company. They always talk about opportunities coming, but they never do. Need to create more jobs outside of research. Lot's of turnover.

We know that there’s always room for improvement and we’re working hard to integrate Research Associates’ feedback into our processes. Regarding advancement, we’re focused on retaining our best people. Within Research we’ve created and promoted RAs to several new roles and the majority of our manager hires come from within the company. In addition, we’re always open to people from the Research team moving into another role in a different area of the company if there’s a fit.
