Pros
This company is hands-down the best I've worked for. The culture is can-do, the pace of work supports balance and tradeoffs, the attention to detail in planning and communication is baked into the fabric of the rituals, and the leadership team is accessible and down-to-earth. The company carves out time every quarter for face-to-face interactions, and the fact that it is a remote-first culture leads to an inclusive environment. Our people operations team is open and flexible, they strive to find a way to say "yes" to employee questions and when policies don't exist when answering questions, they create them to ensure everyone is treated equally. There is a focus here on diversity, equity and inclusion as well. In short, I'm awed at Coda as a place to work.
Cons
The company is growing fast, so keeping a pulse on who owns what and forming relationships is something to plan to put effort into if and when you join.
