Pros

- People are top notch, mostly industry veterans who are really strong at their craft. Also very personable and fun! - Company mission is strong and this space has lots of growth potential

Cons

- Starting remotely is a little challenging, not so easy as being together in the office so it requires more diligence to reach out to teammates to meet/ask questions. - Typical growth pains

Pros

The whole organization shares a clear vision of what Coda will become. This enables us to execute very quickly and with little friction. The engineering team is extremely disciplined in their testing, their use of the type system, and in maximizing code readability / maintainability, which enables us to move incredibly fast, shipping a new version of Coda every day, while at the same time maintaining a high level of quality. My engineering skills & discipline have dramatically improved since I started at Coda. But the team is also a lot of fun & incredibly encouraging.

Cons

Due to the amazing talent on our engineering team, I still suffer from imposter syndrome after a year and a half, but that is more of a personal problem & I find everyone, including my managers, to be super encouraging

Product is very promising and company grows at a fast pace Leadership is very transparent about decision making and deeply cares about employee's well being Talented and humble coworkers that you can learn from Huge effort on creating a DEI culture Good work life balance
