Cogent has a terrific network and one of the best in the industry Great Starter Position for someone getting started in the industry. Teammates/Co-Workers work together to help each other.
Cons
Where do I start here that has not already been said. This is NOT (I repeat) NOT a Sales Position. Let me explain : 1. Clocking in and out (most Sales positions do not do this and think it is weird that Cogent does it). 2. Covid Outbreaks (HR does NOTHING to rectify the problem and wants people in office regardless of the employee or their family being of high risk) 3. Coming in the office 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. Period. 4. Reps challenging others accounts that they are already working. Great way to boos company morale, management. 5. Individuals in the Support Roles that honestly need to be fired....extremely rude and condescending. 6. Management....some of them need to be removed from this role.
