Pros

There have been numerous openings at management and senior levels for people trying to move into those positions.

Cons

Broken HR processes have caused employees to have a multitude of pay issues (401k issues, tax issues, leaves not being paid out, weeks without pay in some cases), Promotions/market increases were promised months ago, constantly delayed, and ultimately canceled. This has led to massive attrition The culture has suffered since the moving to Cognizant. Most coworkers I know are looking for an exit. Personally, I would NOT recommend anyone work here until there is a serious change in senior leadership.

Pros

HCM Practice Experience Only: - You can find a group of great people - Workday ecosystem work is predictable which is nice - Workday is a great product to have as experience that can transfer to many other things - WFH before the pandy - WLB is better than other places - Strong HCM practice methodology - Cognizant acquisition didn’t change much for the consultants

Cons

- Pay leaves a lot desired - Medical premiums are A lot for for anything other than employee only - WFH is used as a counter to low wages - Heard from many people that masters degrees are not valued - Grand Canyon size Disconnect between what sales estimates vs what you need to do the bare minimum - You may be on 4 projects and not reach your quarterly bonus targets which is caused by said sales misstep - Disconnect between Project Management and functional - Cognizant acquisition seems to not have been as impactful to projects and employee benefits as it was touted

Pros

The employees are torch bearers working in unison and spreading the positivity at the ground level. Various platforms to prove self and attain new skills. Good teams always encouraging to try and experiment - an important ingredient to survive and grow in technology sector.

Cons

Multiple re-organizations, restructuring the groups have only led to much confusion. Manager above, only cares if you create a problem and solve them. Does not appreciate someone who works hard for not messing up the deliveries. Under market compensations No focus on appreciating loyal employees Happy to hire laterals at high compensation but do not even bother to pay heed to suggestions from existing resources
