- Beautiful Office in Reston (recently got renovated) - Great benefits as an employee - Relaxed work environment - Project teams and senior management is very helpful - Located in Reston town center

Cons

The level of knowledge within College board is extremely uneven. A lot of people just do work to get by and are not motivated to challenge themselves.

Pros

Benefits/retirement plan are second to none, excellent work/life balance, laidback work atmosphere, well-organized company structure, everyone is working towards a good cause.

Cons

No emphasis on opportunities for training/professional development/career advancement. Employees are rewarded more for tenure than performance; upper-level management overlooks young talent. Many departments are understaffed and salaries do not compensate for this.

Pros

Fantastic location right across from central park, the people are generally well educated and friendly but the salary is below par, although this might be expected as it's a non profit organization

Cons

You really have to pay your dues here for any hope of career advancement within the company. This makes it a great job for recent graduates but not so much for movers and shakers.
