      Pros

      Great benefits package with the highest contribution toward retirement I have ever seen. At the time, they were providing tuition reimbursement as well for both employees and their offspring.

      Cons

      There are limited pathways to growth if you are looking to building your career without moving to New York corporate office. There are also some dinosaurs in the organization that are resistant to change. Some people in leadership do not significantly contribute to the outputs/wins of the office yet are continuously promoted - and promoted again.

      Pros

      Good job security, at least in the department I worked in. Great mission, and collegial atmosphere. Unbelievable vacation, education and retirement benefits.

      Cons

      Did not make use of available technologies. Often more than one department would be doing the same task and there would be no communication or collaboration. Definite silos within the organization and a lot of possessiveness around work. There were times that management appeared to be walking on eggshells, with fear of shaking up the status quo.
