      Pros

      Excellent benefits and great people. I felt like I was truly making a difference.

      Cons

      Management forms close relationships with those who assimilate. The rest are treated like peons. It's not what you know but who you know and more importantly, who likes you.

      Pros

      The people who work in the programs are very passionate about their jobs and the work they do. Benefits are decent.

      Cons

      Management does not care about their employees' advancement and there are few options to move up within the organization from an admin position. Organization policies are aligning more and more towards corporate, and feeling less like a nonprofit. Office politics are rampant. Lower level employees are constantly being reviewed for respecting managers but managers often show no respect to their team.

      Money's good for the non-profit sector, I'm not happy with my position, but it's hard to tell if the issue is my specific manager, or the organization

      Cons

      In my group, it doesn't seem that there's a lot of respect for younger workers.
