Pros

- The best thing about color is the people - the people are kind, smart, and a delight to work with. - Working at a mission-driven company, on a product that helps people live healthier lives and is trying to tackle big challenges in the healthcare space - There are huge opportunities to have a big impact as a software engineer. Engineers have a ton of freedom, and it doesn't feel like work is handed down from the top. Individuals are empowered to propose, and take ownership, and lead projects. - A super exciting time in population genomics

Cons

While I think the freedom and opportunity for impact is exciting, it can be challenging for individuals that want more structure and clear job duties.

Pros

Formal leadership mentoring program, great onboarding experience, workplace conducive to open communication and effective collaboration, innovative environment with real potential to improve clinical outcomes and advance the transition to personalized/precision medicine. Benefits are good, emphasis on work:life balance, pleasant work environment and really good people, resources and organization in place to support productivity

Cons

I'm new to the company but haven't come across a downside yet
