      Pros

      I really enjoy working with the people here, everyone has something special and unique to bring to the company and they are always open to new ideas, experiences and celebrating each other. The company is small but has also been steadily adding more much needed process to make it a more functioning company rather than staying at the scrappy startup stage. It is a good place to work if you like to step up and take ownership of projects/ areas.

      Cons

      Some difficulties in really helping employees understand what progression looks like and setting expectations there. Product is also constantly shifting so it's hard to have alignment across the company about how that affects each team.

      Pros

      Color is at the intersection of traditional tech and biotech. Super collegial and fun envornment, where folks work hard and feel a sense of pride and purpose in our mission to help people lead the healthiest lives with insight from their genes. The perks here are also great - catered lunches, fully stocked kitchen, too much boba, great health-related benefits, Lyft allowance, professional development classes, etc.

      Cons

      We are still very much a start-up which means we are constantly evolving and trying new product ideas. It's exciting but not for the faint of heart.

      Pros

      Like-minded individuals who all want the best for the company and its clients. Work feels meaningful and it is an overall motivational and positive workplace. Management is transparent. Color is constantly growing and improving.

      Cons

      Separated buildings, would prefer if the whole company/team were all in one place. No 401k match at this time.
