It is fulfilling to work with college students who are seeking to gain educational and professional training. CCU has great benefits and creates a strong community among the staff and faculty. There are several perks that make the job fun, like time off at Christmas,and unlimited tea and coffee. They are quick to provide the resources need to get the job done. The IT department is friendly and helpful.

Cons

I have not experienced any cons of working at CCU.

Faculty commitment to student achievement is strong Staff is courteous, friendly, and committed Work environment is safe and stress free Institution is relatively stable

Cons

Parochial beliefs perpetuate discrimination against women and certain other groups Employment contingent upon conformity to narrow and regressive religious and political views Lack of tenure for faculty limits open discussion of alternative views and academic rigor Salary structure average at best, endowment is modest, and campus clean but uninspiring

You are impacting the future of the world. It is a ministry to work for Colorado Christian University and you have to be willing to work for less than the same position would pay in the private sector.

Cons

Some of the decisions which are made seem to go around in circles. Things change on a regular basis and if you wait long enough, they will come back to being the same.
