Pros

I have never worked in the healthcare industry and it provided new challenge. I enjoy working with the compassionate nurses and caregivers. I feel that my work matters and important to our life on this earth. It has purpose. I am amazed every day. The VNA Colorado really focuses on the patient - they provide the best training and the management continues to focus on providing the best support for the field staff. It is a pleasure to work with the managers - they are responsive, committed to their part in the recruitment process. I also have not worked in a non profit environment - I admire the generosity and what is provided to the clients. I believe that if you are a nurse or caregiver in the medical field - you will enjoy exceptional support from your managers and the satisfaction of one on one patient care. VNA Colorado was established 125 years ago and has a rich history.

Cons

Because of the cost constraints of a non profit - the office and environment could use updating. it requires creativity to work with some of the limited resources.
