The bank is still so small and un-organized. The technology is greatly lacking.

There are not many reasons why I like working for Umpqua bank. The only reasons I can think of are the 401K they will match up to 3%. But they best thing is those that work at the bank. Those on the same level as I am, Not Management but co-workers. They make it worth coming into work.

Cons

Managers have no idea how to manage those they are over. They simply have the title and pay. Most of them dont even know what it is those in their department do. There is absolutly no room for advancement in this company, you cannot move up. Any job opportunity is a latteral move. There are no pay raises nor incentives. We work and work yet never get noticed or rewarded. While we dont work for that its nice to hear or see that its seen.
