Home care setting with personal 1 on 1 care

Cons

The office staff is rude to employees and clients. Not flexible whatsoever. Gets mad if you call off due to an emergency. Will hire anyone and send anyone to a clients home. Completely ridiculous and they makeep you feel like your stupid when to be honest. I'm more educated than the whole staff put together. Don't get me wrong some office employees are very nice and considerate. But the select a-holes definitely ruin the whole company. And my client and their family are also highly dissatisfied.

The company connects you with individuals that need your help. The company has a benefits package with insurance and a retirement plan.

Cons

The owner of the company doesn't really manage the company. They outsource the schedule and you have to call the company handling the company if your relief is late. If you don't tell them you won't get paid for the time you wait for relief.

The owner is a “yes” man. He simply tells everyone what they want to hear. Makes you promises but doesn’t keep.

Cons

Your pay is a percentage of the hours you work not the total!!!! My pay checks were ALL lacking substantial hours! Your told you receive pay in between clients yet your total paid hours reflect that’s not the case.
