Pros

Nice location. Most of the people are nice and friendly. Very agreeable office space and setting. Many of the employees are people with similar backgrounds in counseling.

Cons

It is a business and it is run like a business. That can be pretty shocking when you come from a mental health or Human Services background. You really don't use your clinical skills as much as they suggest. I do believe the supervisors often treat the clients much better than they treat the employees - which is sad for a supposed Mental Health Service Company.

Pros

One of the most positive professional environments I've worked in. Interesting backstory and mission. Good pay, location, and benefits. Stable, successful company - growing like crazy. Supportive management and good work-life balance.

Cons

More health benefit choices would be good. Deductibles can be high considering it's a company sponsored benefit.

Pros

It’s a job. That’s about it.

Cons

They give you a lot of days off, which seems great, but it is conter-balanced by the fact that you have to work on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, a full day before Thanksgiving, etc. You have to use all of your time off, if you have any sort of a family, on holidays. Oh and sick days are considered vacation. I find this quite funny since it’s a health and wellness company. They completely discourage health and wellness by forcing you to take time off or go with no pay if you have a doctors’ appt or are sick. Benefits are awful. The pay is painfully low. There is no room for growth. Overall, this company will ultimately fail because of the high turnover of its employees. Honestly though, if you get a job here, continue your job search because you will not be happy here.
