Pros

It pays (though not much)

Cons

Management does not care even a little about the employees. They take every opportunity to make working here miserable. They tell you there is room for advancement, but that only applies if you are friends with management. They expect the fact that you get free bagels on Fridays to make up for all the disrespect that goes on there. Job has a very high turnover rate and for good reason. Management puts on a front that they will listen to employee feedback but they really end up doing whatever they want and whatever is best for their bottom line.

Pros

You don't have to take your work home - usually. Sometimes you can win a random ticket to a Blackhawks or Bulls game (but you won't know anyone there). Coworkers turned into some of my favorite people. Free bagels and jean day on Fridays. Good office location.

Cons

Drama. Unprofessional upper management. Low pay. High expectations - for work load and professionalism that isn't reflected. Busy work. No room for growth. Treated like a child. Management plays favorites. Low Morale. Low communication. No loyalty. No transparency. Lots of whispering and secrets. Management accepts bribes for promotions.

Pros

Good work life balance, biweekly bagel day, nice location downtown, great management (for my team). Many complaints on glassdoor about the company, however, most of the positions available are not designed or sustainable for long-term career growth. Great positions for recent graduates or professionals in the midst of a career change.

Cons

Repetitive work, few opportunities for career advancement, low compensation.
