Pros

I was a commissioned employee so I was on my own most of the time. I was also in control of my schedule for the most part.

Cons

"Fake it 'til you make it". "Positive mental attitude". No matter how bad things get you are told it is great.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company. Being a sales agent at Combined is entrepreneurial-like because agents have control over their own schedules and have the ability to make a virtually unlimited income based on the volume of their sales. It's true that having a positive mental attitude (PMA) is extremely important to our company culture, which includes facing our challenges head on to come up with a solution. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

There is never a dull moment. It was important to me to sell something I believed in, and I am a policyholder to this day. I met some amazing, interesting co-workers and clients during my 2.5 years with the company.

Cons

It is incredibly difficult to make a living during your first year+ in the field. Management places tremendous pressure on agents and sales managers without providing remotely adequate support. Be prepared to travel 30-80% of the time and to put an insane amount of wear and tear on your car. Combined provides excellent insurance policies but uses and abuses its employees.
