      Pros

      Very strong history of Principals from founder W. Clement Stone which should be basis for a successful organization.

      Cons

      W. Clement Stone would roll over in his grave were he to witness the Combined of today. Upper management is weakest leadership team I have witnessed in 30 years. Only interested in "yes" and very intimidated by innovative thinking.

      Pros

      The culture here is strong, and there are many opportunities for advancement -- especially following the merger of the Ace Group and Chubb. The people are friendly and helpful, and the leadership team is very approachable. If you're good at what you do and are willing to work hard, you can go far at Combined Insurance.

      Cons

      Things move pretty fast -- you need to work hard to prioritize. Lots of meetings, too, but not more than any other big company. Sometimes it's tough to stay on top of everything.

      Pros

      Ipad and a free trip to Chicago

      Cons

      They brag about training, since the first interview. You get a week training in Chicago and then you are on your own. There is no support from management ever. They micro manage you every single day. They expect you to work 60 plus hours per week and their products are not that great. Highest turnover rate I have ever been exposed to in any company. Most don't make the 3 month mark and that is why they are better know as a training school that sells insurance.
