Pros

People who stay at the communities care a lot. You’ll see some of the best of humanity when the company works like it imagines itself to do 24/7.

Cons

Don’t think CSIG is any worse than the rest of the industry, but senior living is brutal. Trying to profit as much as possible on people going through one of the toughest parts of their lives. Corporate team members are especially insulated from this reality and make decisions that don’t always jive with those actually helping the “residents” at the communities. High earners at the company usually are great at what they do but earn more by charging people more bc they can. Encouraged by corporate to upcharge whenever possible.

Hello, Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us. We truly appreciate hearing both the positive aspects of your experience as well as areas where we can improve. It’s great to know that you recognize the dedication and compassion of our amazing team members. They work hard to create a caring environment, and your feedback means a lot to them. We also value your insights into the challenges we face in senior living, especially the balancing act between business needs and providing the best care possible. We would like to connect with you directly to learn more about your experience with us. Please reach out to our HR Business Partner, Kristyn Nowlin, at 810-220-2671. Thank you.

Pros

Residents feel like family. Opportunity to grow is there. Free lunch. For the most part, relaxed atmosphere.

Cons

Base pay could be higher. On-site Director does not have total oversight over all departments. Meaning, HR wants everything solved in-house. My experience is that there are more cons than pros as long as certain management is in place.
