Pros

Get to work with lots of different types of people and students, really good benefits and time off

Cons

Lots of things being thrown at you unexpectedly in an untimely manner, pay is not competitive even though it is marketed as such, pay structure is unbalanced in general.

Pros

Work directly at the school. You can build professional relationships with children and really have free reign on how to run the program and what activities to bring into the school

Cons

If you don’t meet your numbers they cut you and fire you. No warning no write up. It’s all about the money and they make money by having high enrollment. There was no support in the role at all. S

Pros

Can run the program however you want to run it, the kids makes the job interesting. Off summer(paid) and throughout the year. Good job if you don't like working with others or having a boss being over your shoulders 24/7. LCSW supervision after 2years

Cons

All about number of kids enrolled in program. Quality over quality. Unrealistic expectations that changes. Managing 80 and up kids is tough and can be hectic at times. No support from others since everyone is on their own. Thrown into the job with no guidance or tips. Only care about reaching the number of students and not so much what you do to them. Was told " if you meet/see a kid in hallway 2x a month, you are done giving services to that kid". Also the pay is okay, but needs to be better due to everything we have to do
