      There is no pros at all.

      Cons

      Go through people like popcorn. No respect to employees and high turnover.

      I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a positive experience at The Community Builders. TCB does have higher turnover in our Property Management division, but the levels are consistent with what we benchmark across the industry. This does not mean that we are satisfied with current turnover levels. We conduct exit interviews with as many employees as possible in order to better understand opportunities for improvement. We also conduct an employee survey every 18 months to gain feedback on a variety of issues. We are working at trying to better retain talented staff members.

      Pros

      Exceptionally talented colleagues who develop and manage wonderful properties. Leadership works to create a work environment that offers a work/life balance and seeks to mentor employees to provide career growth while encouraging creativity and collaboration. They actively pursue employee feedback via surveys and regional meetings as they strive to continuously improve and work toward being an employer of choice. TCB values their residents and it is exceptionally rewarding to work for a company in which the mission statement is to build and sustain strong communities where people of all incomes can achieve their full potential.

      Cons

      TCB deals tend to be complex and the industry is fast-paced, which is not for everyone. However, if you are a person who enjoys these elements you will find the work rewarding and exciting.

      Loved the Job

      Pros

      Enjoyed working with residents. Had a lot of freedom to devise programs, activities and events.

      Cons

      Property managers are often stretched to capacity therefore can't offer as much guidance as one new to the position may need. It's a bit sink or swim as another reviewer said.
