Pros

Great vacation, sick and benefits. Fantastic co-workers, great environment to work in. Clients make the day for me.

Cons

Expectations are unattainable, I am expected to do the jobs of 3 people for the money and schedule of 1. There is no limit on what you are expected to do, job description does not begin to cover what is ultimately expected of the employee.

Pros

good benefits for union...don't have to pay insurance premiums even for family members. CEO makes employees feel special with holiday parties and cookies and picnics which is pretty good with all the money problems due to the state budget. HR provides tons of training opportunities. HR also does ergonomic reviews if you ask for it and they helped me get a proper chair so that my back wouldn't keep hurting.

Cons

wish we had a proper lunch room to take breaks in so we don't have to keep working through our lunches at our desks. union benefits are decent but union administration is annoying and hard to get ahold of. I usually have to call CHR's HR department and use them to get through to the union, so HR has been pretty helpful. Computers are not the best, wish we had more advanced technology.

Pros

Supportive program directors, flexible and in general the individuals who work for the agency are genuine and care about the clients served.

Cons

Low pay, high caseload, burnout is high and at times difficult to meet funders demands.
