      No Pay Raises

      Pros

      None that come to mind.

      Cons

      When an employee is at the top of their pay range, no more pay raises will be issued. The pay raises that were in place barely covered inflation. Now, we need to deal with higher cost of living on our own!! Also, management is forcing employees to take time off--even if it means they go without pay. More ways of shafting the employees.

      Pros

      Health insurance very good; other benefits are pretty standard. Marketing and sales departments are well-funded so name recognition in most markets is good.

      Cons

      Corporate executives in Franklin, TN completely disconnected from hospital operations. Number one driving goal is profit-making, Quality of patient care declines in every community when CHS moves into town due to skeletal staffing models in all facilities.

      Pros

      The pay is quite good compared to other places. Great benefits and vacation time. I enjoy working with everyone here.

      Cons

      The focus seems to be more on cutting costs than caring for the patient. We are made you review multiple reports to make sure other departments are doing their job.
