Pros
I learned a lot in such a short period of time due to my department wearing many hats. Standards, procedures were the same across the entire company. Cross department training. Great benefits.
Cons
I went there with the intention of moving my way up in the company. It didn't matter which departments wanted me, I couldn't because I didn't make enough money to move up. Everyone in the company will tell you if you want to move up to leave for 6 months then come back to the position you want with much higher pay. It is very top heavy. There is constant re-organization of the departments leaving many employees struggling to justify their jobs.
