Pros

Great Software and development team - Can be a one trick pony and may need to look into better relationships with HW partners. Product is easy to pitch and sell however it is being challenged for the value position with other products from VMware and Veritas - CV finds it very hard to move the dial on large scale IBM and EMC installs

Cons

Was a great little startup - Now too many ex EMC people involved and seem to be more interested in reports/plans vs just getting in front of the customer. VSOE is painful outside of the USA and when competitors can swap out for maintenance there has to be a fix here. Partner program to put it bluntly is non existent outside of the US Core Values dont seem to be an actual thing middle management care about

Growing faster than most software firm and the market; encouraged to have fun; pays well, some great people and some inspirational leaders.

Cons

Rewards and recognition based on who you know rather than what you do. If you're not in sales, you might never find out what's going on in the place. Expected to work any and all hours all the time.

Our strategy is to improve internal communications to our employees enabling individuals outside of sales to be more aligned with the business strategy. We would encourage our employees to attend the quarterly "All-Hands" meeting whereby our employees can receive regular updates from the regional Management team. Further insight can be obtained from our internal intranet and by reaching out to the sales organisation directly. We would encourage you/our employees to discuss your career opportunity by having regular meetings with your Manager and agree objectives to enhance your career whilst ensuring your work life balance if managed appropriately.
