I want to encourage you to talk to either your manager or HR about any specific concerns that you have so that we can assure that you are successful at Commvault. We really try to encourage all our employees especially when it comes to our development hubs, to have a sense of pride in our ability to execute complex projects. You are right that our core technology used to build Commvault products are on C++, C# along with Java and Python. I am happy to hear that you called out our flat hierarchy that has given every individual working in the development team an equal opportunity to learn and grow. We also hope you are taking advantage of the collaboration aspect and the ability to have all ideas heard that this style brings.
It is our aim to always hire strong engineers who understand our designs and build a framework that is used within the projects. The development environment is extremely collaborative where employees have the Freedom to make an Impact. Together. Sometimes this means you need to be proactive and explore all that is available to you, for example, our share drives, libraries, and intranet.
