Pros

Benefits were more on the plus side along with salary (depending on what you negotiate, and or who you know as they like to play the system). If you like immature leadership, this is the place for you. The new headquarters is a nice facility, we used to be in a window-less co-op building that felt like a bunker (but that doesn't matter).

Cons

Always late to market with no more innovation. Very disorganized in execution, delivery and internal organization. Horrible moral with employees scared to talk and network. Re-orgs every quarter with big ones once or twice a year along with role changes so you will never really know what your job is.

Commvault Response

I want to thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. I hope you have found a next opportunity that matches what you are looking for. I'm really excited about the culture that we have built not only in our headquarters but right throughout Commvault as a whole. I have a deep commitment to continuing to build our culture and continue to make Commvault a place where everyone enjoys the freedom to make an impact, together. I know we don’t get it right every time and clearly, you have experienced it differently. However, we would not be recognized as one of the best places to work in New Jersey if not for an immersive employee experience where people feel valued, can grow, innovate and accomplish a lot, and we have accomplished a lot! We consistently deliver the most innovative and comprehensive solutions which is also why for 7 years straight have been recognized as a leader in this space by leading industry analysts like Gartner and Forrester. That said, I get your point and acknowledge your concern that change happens frequently at Commvault. We must continuously evolve our change management approaches to minimize the difficulty, confusion and disruption. I also have to stress that change has to be a constant when you are in one of the fastest changing and most disruptive parts of the tech industry. It is exactly that ability as an organization to pivot, course correct and change that has powered our innovation and results for the past 20 years and also what will propel us for the 20 ahead.
