Pros

Little overall medical responsibilities, some flexibility in your day

Cons

Facilities are mostly one star, they sell you as the hero that will save their building of falls, wounds, and other injuries. And once you get in the building your ability to affect change is dismal at best. I signed a contract that said one thing and once I received it back their were aspects of it that had changed. Very shady business practices.

Pros

Decent support albeit virtual. Your day is somewhat flexible, but spent charting whether in the facility or at home.

Cons

You must try and bill 20 patients a day with a horrible EMR system, you end up having to spend most of your day charting. Also don’t expect to really get much done to help these patients between the skilled nursing facility rules and regulations, challenges of insurance and overall financial barriers. You’re just billing to bill.

Pros

Flexible schedule Some people friendly

Cons

Nothing is as advertised in the interview Realistically the salary they offer seems high but they are including the bonus as it involves seeing 4-5 more patients (they pay per patient but give you an hourly rate for some reason, probably to confuse you) than what is normally expected. Very little feedback or transparency No holidays are off (must use PTO) The pay per patient 2 days a week for per time but expect you to be available the other 4-5 days too for free. They expected me to go to a : hour meeting once a week (also never paid me For my time). Documentation is tedious.

Comprehensive Rehab Consultants Response

We are very sorry that you had a negative experience. We endeavor to provide as clear a picture as possible of the role prior to placement and many part-time providers are not used to thinking of roles as pay per visit, rather than hourly which is why we describe the roles both ways. For part-time roles, our pay starts as hourly and then transitions to pay-per-visit after a certain period which is explained during the interview process and in our offer letters. The meeting mentioned is part of the consideration of the part time worker's responsibilities and is part of the overall pay rate consideration as our part-time roles are still permanent, W2 roles that include other benefits. Your feedback has been noted and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
