Flexibility and low responsibilities overshadowed by poor practices - APRN, FNP-BC Comprehensive Rehab Consultants Employee Review

Pros

Little overall medical responsibilities, some flexibility in your day

Cons

Facilities are mostly one star, they sell you as the hero that will save their building of falls, wounds, and other injuries. And once you get in the building your ability to affect change is dismal at best. I signed a contract that said one thing and once I received it back their were aspects of it that had changed. Very shady business practices.

Pros

The management team is so supportive and available. I received great training and was given all the tools needed to succeed. The compensation is great. Company is also great at recognizing employees for their work. Everyone is held to same achievable standards. There is room to excel and employees are recognized for it. The flexibility in the scheduled allows you to be there for all your families events and still work full time.

Cons

I have not found any drawbacks.

Pros

Decent support albeit virtual. Your day is somewhat flexible, but spent charting whether in the facility or at home.

Cons

You must try and bill 20 patients a day with a horrible EMR system, you end up having to spend most of your day charting. Also don’t expect to really get much done to help these patients between the skilled nursing facility rules and regulations, challenges of insurance and overall financial barriers. You’re just billing to bill.
