HR & IT support can be a GREAT Team that delivers on a constant basis when Management actually agree or take responsibility for Managing (and part is HR Leadership has technical acumen of a mule & solely listens to CFO... "Cut, Cut, Cut..Just like Ms. Birdie in Rainmaker)

Cons

Zero support for shared services IT. Silver platter delivery in a fully functional MSS/ESS Application. Nothing but infighting. CIO Cherry Picks who gets bonus & who doesn't. Must be all 20+ years of coding expertise (when including High School practicing). Get your $$$$ up front because you will never see an additional dime... Even when promoted.

Pros

The work is not that hard. they offer some training and will pay for certifications. Really flexible on vacation and sick leave.

Cons

NO RAISES!!!! I worked there for 5 years and there was never any raises or any real recognition for the work you do. Job growth is virtually non existent. The company cuts costs and people with adds more work to the remaining and expect this to be performed with no real compensation. The company institutes productivity killing monitoring apps and procedures. example: the company already uses a very good ticketing system that can track work and cases but then they added another layer app that you have to start the clock and end the clock when performing work. All this under the guise of providing better statistics to clients. Really it is just a way to watch over your shoulder.
