Pros

Work/life balance was good. Good group of peers to work with.

Cons

Mostly laughably bad management. Seem unaware how to cater to their customers. Good luck getting a raise. No room for advancement.

Pros

I have been working at CompuCom for nearly a year and have been very satisfied with my experience here so far. I feel hard work pays off and is recognized by management as I have seen in the past 12 months here. I appreciate the open and honest feedback. Our new corporate office is high-tech, located close to Ballantyne and my team has been flexible from a work/life balance here. Perks of our gym and arcade style games are fun and an added bonus. It is the first company I have felt appreciated at and valued in compared to in my prior roles, reasons I feel I have succeeded and seen promotion and praise since starting. I have developed a lot of quality relationships and had great exposure to starting. I think your level of motivation and hard work pays off and shows through to others at this organization.

Cons

This is not the place to work if you are looking to fly under the radar or not work hard.

Pros

Flexible schedule and liberal leave policy. Rare face-to face with immediate supervisor.

Cons

Where to start. Micro-management is paramount within this company today. No rocks left un-turned with the new military-style management philosophies/strategies to squeeze another nickle from the already bottom of the scale paid field service groups. Metrics are gospel and if they don't paint a pretty picture, you can guarantee heads are going to roll by brow-beating every team member whether they've contributed to the unacceptable metrics or not. Middle management/bean counters have no clue that there are actual real people working for them out in the field. The company mantra of "win-win" is reserved for middle/upper-management and the shareholders or now......... Office Depot. Integrity was thrown out the door sometime around 2008 when they changed the compensation model, and then again in 2011 when across the board pay-cuts were handed-out even though they still managed to turn a profit every year since that time. NO RAISES in nearly 10 years, NO COST OF LIVING INCREASES EVER since 2008, just a myriad of excuses as to why the finance dept denied the funds (only way to get anything is to threaten to quit or hound them for months on end and even then, 99% of efforts are met with a big fat NO!). Oh yeah, that's right, because they couldn't afford it... Hmmm, I bet mid-upper management got their raise/bonuses like clockwork though. Sad state of affairs within this company which is why all of the great, hardworking techs/analysts and specialists have moved on to other opportunities. Run... run far away from this career growth-stunting micro-managing machine!
