Private equity ownership has been strangling the company for years and continues to keep growth and development under tight constraint. Almost every effort to grow business or expand into new areas is under developed and tentatively lead. Many new ideas are strangled by lack of resources or support and the organization has a hard time moving from their comfort zones. Leadership can be tenuous at times then overbearing at others. Competitive compensation can be a challenge and you have to really do something unnatural to get a decent raise/promotion if you stay around long enough. Every couple of years they try a new strategy without giving it the support it needs or the time necessary to develop. Stuck at the same level of business for years even with several mergers or infusions of talent.

I worked with CompuCom for three years and was promised the moon but, of course it didn't happen. I don't think I have ever in 20 years worked for such a cheap company. After 3 years, I couldn't get a minimal raise for outstanding reviews.
