Pros

It allowed me grow my skill set considerably.

Cons

Raises are less than cost of living increase. Best case scenario is to move positions to create upward momentum for your career every 1-2 years.

Pros

PTO time. If your lucky enough to have good direct management, they will be very flexible. Holidays are off. Overtime is possible if the client needs project work. Online classes for certifications if one chooses to take advantage.

Cons

Many cons to report which is a very sad truth. You will strive to be the best and advance yourself only to be knocked down even if you have received good yearly reports. I have learned that the company uses "the economy is bad" approach on just about every financial decision that could benefit you as an employee. No raises in the past 4+ years, change in benefits every year which end up costing the employee more money, 401k match consistently gets smaller every year. Micro management by groups the company hires to find ways for to increase productivity.

Pros

Experience, environment and accrued time. You learn a lot if you apply yourself. Vacation time, PTO etc are fantastic as well. Certifications are paid for, if you can find time to do tham or get approved for them.

Cons

NO RAISES, no compensation, NO RAISES. Training is terrible, there is no incentive to perform daily duties. NO RAISES The ever changing policies combines with the lack of training makes for a very backwards work environment.
